Humanitarian aid activities
Activities of humanitarian assistance programs



* Allocation of GR rice and money to the District Commissioners of all districts of the country for distribution in the light of the guidelines for the implementation of humanitarian aid programs among the helpless, distressed and poor people affected by various disasters.

* Providing housing allowance at the rate of Rs.3,000/- per bundle of housing allowance to disaster affected persons/institutions for construction/reconstruction of houses in light of Humanitarian Assistance Program Implementation Guidelines.

* Data of 40,511 acres of land acquired through LA case in 38 districts of the country for the rehabilitation of Mohaj, collected from the district, preserved in this Directorate and sent to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.
* Collection and payment of electricity bills provided by (a) PDB, (b) DESCO, (c) DPDC and (d) KCJ Ltd. to the families of stranded non-Bengalis living in 14 non-Bengali (Bihari) camps in 06 districts of the country.


* For the purchase of blankets and blankets, by inviting tenders, purchase blankets and blankets according to the rules and distribute them in the light of the implementation guidelines of the humanitarian aid program.
